Capturing one leaves the rest untouched. And it is exhausting to run here and there.
Better to stop and ask how do these symptoms relate? What is the big picture?
Getting to the root cause ends the flitting about.

It's not about your knee.
It's about not wanting to let go of hurts Holding onto your injustices like a shield Creates the Baker's Cysts behind the knee The cysts that cause pain with movement It is difficult to move the leg forward Just as it is difficult to move your life forward Getting a knee replacement will not help who you are You will still have trouble moving forward Until you decide to let it go. Looking for the source of this odd sound I see a small bird looking down at me from the high arched window above my entry. As if to say "Get up sleepy head. It's already light!" She tapped on the glass. Why? Was it care? Or her curiosity? She flew before I could thank her for stopping by. Photo by Stephen McKinney Spiraling energy

Dump trucks invade my desert peaceful slumbers. In the place where the coyotes used to howl to corral their kill. The desert home of bobcats, saguaro, ocotillo, jackrabbits, quail, roadrunners, and gila monsters. I used to wake to mourning doves singing their sad song. Now it is heavy equipment blaring warnings. Unearthly noise that. Trust, like faith, is difficult to describe.
It can only be demonstrated. Lived. Built day after day, we witness consistency and learn to expect the same today. Photo by Linus Nyland In the still of the room, she hears new stories about herself.
The stories she told me before the forgetting started. Each day is a brand new day as if yesterday never was. At least she remembers who I am and that I help her feel better. She is precious beyond measure. Radiant as the sun. Too little physical activity

You don't need someone else telling you how to fix things or where to go next. The answers live inside of you if you become quiet enough to hear them. You can sift truth from falsehood. You can find your way. You can make your own mistakes.
Waiting to hear from an authority figure rather using your intellect and intuition gives away your power. Take back your power to decide for yourself. Large organizations, like government and corporations, want you to do what they want. They want to remove your freedom to choose. You decide. What makes sense to you? Trust yourself. Step aside from spin and hype. What do you think and why? Steer your own course by feel of wind and sea. Photo by Annie Spratt |
