Laughing, singing, swinging through the air.
Children remind us how to play.
They are born knowing it.
Then forget with time and conditioning.
Summer water fights or running through sprinklers.
Watching the northern lights as we sing around a campfire.
Making flour marks to confuse the pack behind me.
All are play.
There is more to life than work.
And there is more to life than play.
It's in the balance of all things.
